Mastering Requirements

For all mastering services, Nashville Audio & Mastering requires you to send us Stereo Interleaved Files, either WAV or AIFF. We prefer that these files be rendered out at the Bit Depth and Sample Rate of the original recording! If you have vocals, we may request they be submitted separate than the music depending on the quality of the work.

It is imperative to keep your audio files at the highest quality throughout the mastering process and leave things up to us! You can send Nashville Audio & Mastering your work via regular mail or FTP... this allows you to send us files quickly and easily over the Internet. If you're in town, we'll be happy to pick them up! Nashville Audio & Mastering wants our name to appear on "A" Mixes and let's be honest, so do you! This means that many supply us with "C" mixes and we polish them to the max! Nashville Audio & Mastering guarantees to raise the degree of our client's mix at least one (1) grade higher than the original mix; i.e. a "B" mix will be brought up to an "A" mix. In most instances, we exceed more than one (1) degree improvement!

FTP allows you to transfer data from one computer to another over the Internet and is extremely secure.

Steps to setting up an FTP account:

Call us and to get a user ID and password.
Tell us what web browser you prefer to use.
We will then email you step-by-step instructions.
